About the Journal

Aim and Scope

The complex nature of the problems encountered in the world today requires scientific enquiry from a variety of perspectives and disciplines. The Fountain: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies seeks to provide a platform for debate, and sharing of research results from various subjects. The Fountain: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is open to a broad range of disciplines and authors. Contributions from emerging researchers and authors are highly encouraged.

Article Types

Original contributions should be in English and may take the form of original research articles, review articles, book reviews or commentaries.

Peer review

Please note that The Fountain: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies employs a double-blind peer review process (both authors and reviewers are anonymous).

All contributions will be initially assessed by the Editor-in-Chief, or the Guest Editor in the case of certain special issues. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two reviewers to assess the academic quality of the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of all articles. The Chief Editor's decision is final.

Open access

The Fountain: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is an online open access journal. Readers may access all articles free of charge. There are no submission fees, publication fees or page charges for this journal.
